New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing an election rally in South Delhi's Ambedkar Nagar. This is his fourth public meeting in run up to the Assembly polls in Delhi slated for February 7.

Here we are providing you live updates of PM Modi's speech:

04:28 pm: Modi concludes his speech.

04:28 pm: Modi: Break all records of voting and vote for the BJP.

04:26 pm: Modi: No matter what tales liars spread, don't get fooled. I can hear your voice. Public wants security for its future generation. BJP can provide you that security. Let me remind you that even Kashmir broke all records this time in voting. Shouldn't Delhi beat states like Kashmir and Haryana? You have to take care of these remaining three days.

04:25 pm: Modi: I have also become a Delhiite now that I reside in Delhi, hence its of my personal interest that Delhi develops.

04:24 pm: Modi: This is not a government of scams, nor does this govt take aid from scams. India must be strenghtened so that we can export. We move forward with the mantra of Development. Give a strong and stable government to Delhi.

04:22 pm: Modi: We created world record when our government managed to open maximum bank accounts through Jan Dhan Yojana. For youth employment, I started Make in India campaign. I invited investors all over the world to try Indians skill.

04:18 pm: Modi: We are robustly working towards development, leaving no space for people that practice the policy of divide and rule.

04:16 pm: Modi: Elections will come and go, but you shouldn't divide the people of this country. Some of my journalist friends asked me if I had given donation too. I was perplexed and asked for an inquiry. Through the inquiry I got to know that. Delhi ek lagoo bharat hai. Whatever happens in Delhi affects the nation.

04:14 pm: Modi: I have seen in the last 2 days attempts are being made to incite our North-eastern brothers and sisters. In BJP's Vision Document, something was incorrectly written of Northeastern immigrants. It was clearly a mistake, and we have accepted it When BJP govt was in Bengaluru, because of some rumours, North easterns started fleeing from the state. But BJP government held them back.

04:13 pm: Modi: For the 1984 riots the judiciary has recommended that an SIT be formed, shouldn't we do it? Shouldn't we deliver justice to the victims of the 1984 riots? And if we do it, they are saying we are doing it because of polls. If we reduce petrol prices, then they say we are doing it for elections. But we are only working for public welfare. When I had come to Ramlila Maidan earlier, I got a tweet that said if the BJP comes to power then retiring age will be reduced by two years.

04:11 pm: Modi: Those incapable of fighting elections on their own are being backed by others and being shown as PM candidate. Some people pretended to have a clean image. They have been exposed. Public can forgive mistakes but betrayal cannot be forgiven.

04:09 pm: Modi: There are many national leaders.

04:08 pm: Modi: Our opponents are agitated because they still can't digest how Modi came to the forefront. They can't accept how a poor man has got so much popularity.

04:06 pm: Modi: You want the nation to grow don't you? For this Delhi needs stability. We need a strong govt, Delhi has seen the backlash of an unstable govt already. I have come top request you. Vote for development. Vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party.

04:04 pm: I seek your blessing. And Delhi has indeed blest me abundantly. Today the whole world is looking up to India. Do you know why? It's because of you. You have given a clear mandate to Delhi. Now when I go to different countries, and greet world leaders, they are not fascinated with me. They see me backed by 2.25 billion people.

04:03 pm: Modi: They must have housing facilities that include electricity, water and medical facility.

04:00 pm: Modi: There is only one path, one vision and one mantra in politics for me - that is development. Without development Delhi cannot grow. I want poorest of poor to get educated. They must have medical facilities. Poor must have a house of their own. They work hard with sincerity. And when they return after a laborious day, they don't have enough space to stretch out their legs.

03:57 pm: Modi: By tomorrow election campaigns will cease. I have a complaint against Delhi. When Lok Sabha Elections were going on and I myself was one of the candidate. But the kind of support you are displaying now is more overwhelming than then.

03:55 pm: Modi begins his speech

03:50 pm: Modi has reached the venue, will address the rally shortly.

02:50 pm: Modi was scheduled to address the rally at 2pm but has been delayed for some reasons.

Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure anti-social forces are not given a chance to disrupt the rally. Over 5,000 personnel, including the officials of Special Protection Group (SPG), which looks after the Prime Minister's security, have been deployed at the venue.

Yesterday Modi mounted a shrill attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over allegations of the party receiving ‘dubious' donations, saying it has exposed its claim of being more honest than others and questioned whether Kejriwal-led can run Delhi with ‘dishonesty and lies'.

He also had a swipe at Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, calling them ‘Maa-beta', and said nobody was listening to them except when they make statements against him.
