Badaun: A stampede broke out during the blanket distribution as part of Mulayam Singh Yadav's birthday celebrations in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh.
One woman has died in this stampede. According to reports available, Samajwadi Party MP Dharmendra Yadav was distributing the when the stampede broke out.
The death of the hapless woman is bound to bring further embarrassment to Mulayam Singh and his party as they are already facing severe criticism for spending huge amount of money for Mulayam Singh's birthday celebrations.
