Congress denies report about Priyanka to campaign across India, blames channels

"Priyanka ji had been campaigning in Amethi and Rae Bareli, and will continue to do so", said Maken.



However, media reports said,  despite official denials, there has been active thinking in the higher echelons of the party to project Priyanka as the party's star campaigner in the Lok Sabha polls, given the fact that her brother Rahul Gandhi would be busy strategizing for the LS polls.


Priyanka is presently  confined to campaigning in Rae Bareli and Amethi parliamentary constituencies, held by her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi respectively.
