Claiming that such boards and hoardings are a “total distortion of facts and a false propaganda”, Congress said the price of onions ranges between Rs 25 and Rs 50 and tomato from Rs 25 to Rs 48.
“The continuance of such boards and hoardings in different parts of Delhi/New Delhi is a deliberate mischief to malign Congress...and is in violation of the Model Code of Conduct,” he told the EC.
He contended that such a “false propaganda” would even provoke hoarders and black-marketeers to resort to hoarding of essential commodities.
