Bangalore, Jan 12: As part of preparations for the coming assembly election in Karnataka, the state unit Congress today invited applications from ticket aspirants.
The party said it would issue applications seeking registration from candidates for all 224 assembly constituencies from January 15. The last date to submit them is January 25.
The KPCC in a release issued here said male candidates aspiring to contest from general seats would have to pay Rs 10,000 fee, Women from general constituencies Rs 5,000, SC/ST Rs 5,000 and Women from SC/ST section Rs 2,500 along with the application.
