Patna: A day after senior JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar vowed to stop Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Ashwamedh horse' in Bihar for next year's Assembly polls, the BJP today questioned the claim saying JD(U) has been leading a ”tired” coalition government in the state for the past 18 months.

”How will you (Kumar) stop Modi's ‘Ashwamedh horse' in Bihar when your own party's coalition government appears tired and is taking its last breath?” former deputy chief minister and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi asked.

Asserting that the BJP would ride on Prime Minister Modi's successful efforts to contain price rise and bring the country on the path of development, he said in a statement that in next year's Assembly polls, Kumar would not be able to stop even with the support of RJD and Congress as was the case in the general elections earlier this year.

The BJP leader attacked the senior JD(U) leader for trying to divide people on caste and communal lines for political benefits and said all negative tactics of the ruling coalition in Bihar would come to an end in next year's Assembly polls, which the BJP would win hands down with the blessings of the people.

Sushil claimed that BJP's ‘Ashwamedh horse' would not only sweep Bihar but West Bengal too in 2016. Kumar had yesterday exhorted people to stop BJP's 'Ashwamedh horse' in Bihar during the next Assembly elections.
