The defamation suit was filed against Kejriwal by Gadkari, after the AAP chief refused to withdraw the allegations levelled by him against the latter.
Gadkari in his defamation suit had alleged that Kejriwal had defamed him by including his name in the AAP list of “India's most corrupt.”
Gadkari told the court that “false, baseless, scandalous, defamatory statements” have been made by Kejriwal against him and these have lowered his dignity.
