Blast on train kills 16 in South West Pakistan
Islamabad: At least 16 people, including women and children, were killed and over 40 others injured when militants bombed a train in Pakistan's restive southwestern Balochistan province today.The blast took place inside the bogie number
The train was carrying hundreds of passengers when the blast took place.
Most of the killed, including four children and three women, were burned to death.
The bomb seems to have been planted inside the washroom of a bogie.
The outlawed United Baloch Army claimed responsibility for the attack, according to Geo TV.
Railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique told Geo News that the attack “could be in response to the ongoing operation” launched by paramilitary troops against separatist rebels.
