153 new COVID-19 cases reported in West Bengal today, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 1939.

15 new coronavirus positive cases reported in Odisha taking the total number of cases in the state to 377 including 306 active cases, 68 cured/discharged and 3 deceased.

Supreme Court will tomorrow pronounce the order on petitions seeking restoration of 4G internet service in Jammu and Kashmir.

National Institute of Virology, Pune has successfully developed the 1st indigenous anti-SARS-CoV-2 human IgG ELISA test kit for antibody detection of COVID-19. INS Magar, the second Indian Naval ship to reach Male, the Maldives for the evacuation of Indian citizens, has completed embarkation of personnel. A total of 202 personnel have embarked on the ship. INS Magar departed Male this evening for Kochi on completion of embarkation.

25 new positive cases reported in Jammu & Kashmir today (2 from Jammu division and 23 from Kashmir division), taking the total number of cases to 861. The total death toll stands at 9.

The upcoming Monsoon session of the Parliament will be held as per schedule. Till now, there are no plans to postpone the session. The decision will be taken as per the situation at that time, said Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday.

Special CBI Court sends businessmen Kapil Wadhawan and Dheeraj Wadhawan to judicial custody for 14 days in Yes Bank case. The bail pleas filed by them will be heard on May 13.

54 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Karnataka today, taking the total number of cases to 848 including 31 deaths and 422 discharges. The number of active cases stands at 394.

7 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in Kerala today, taking the total active cases in the state to 20. Four people recovered today. 489 people have recovered so far.

Number of active cases of COVID-19 stands at 14 in Himachal Pradesh, two people have succumbed to the infection while 35 people have recovered.

1,884 active cases of COVID-19 are at present in Uttar Pradesh. The total number of people who have been cured and discharged are 1,504.

Coronavirus LIVE: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal addresses a press conference. HIGHLIGHTS: 

• Out of roughly 7000 positive cases in Delhi, approximately 1500 are in hospital
• Out of these 1500 in hospital, only 27 are on ventilator. Majority of cases are mild or asymptomatic
• We have analysed that 82% of the people who have lost their lives were above the age of 50
• We are seeing that there are more deaths among elderly people
• We will provide buses and trains for all those people who are stranded here
• I urge the people to stay inside their homes
