Nainital, Uttarakhand, Dec 15: The season's first snowfall in Nainital took place on Friday with tourists coming out of their hotels to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
China Peak, Snow View and Kilbari are presently shrouded in snow.
There had been snowfall for the last one week on the higher reaches near Nainital.
Most of the houses in Nainital are presently covered with layers of snow.
