Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government today set up a two-member judicial inquiry commission headed by Justice (retd) Sugnyaben K. Bhatt to probe the matter of alleged snooping of a woman and submit its report within three months.






The other member of the Commission is K C Kapoor, retired Additional Chief Secretary

A press release said, recently certain news items had appeared in print and electronic media quoting certain audio tapes published on web portals "cobrapost" and "Gulail.com" regarding some alleged incidents of security/surveillance of a woman in Gujarat in 2009.

"After considering all aspects of the case, the state government has decided to get the matter inquired in the larger public interest to gather, assimilate and establish the truth."

"The two-member Commission of Inquiry will inquire into and report on the said incident", the press release said.
