Srinagar, Jun 17: Militants today threw a grenade at the 179 CRPF battalion posted in Sopore, 55 km from here in Baramulla district, injuring five jawans.
The injured jawans were rushed to hospital, where the condition of one of them is said to be critical.
Police and CRPF jawans later cordoned off the area in search of the militants.
No militant group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
