New Delhi: Katrina Kaif's popular hair removing brand has now slipped into the territory of petite actress Shraddha Kapoor. The ‘Ek Villain' star will soon be taking over as the brand ambassador for the skin care product that Katrina has been endorsing for over 7 years now.

The new freshly designed campaign of the brand will witness the young and chic Shraddha Kapoor who has already shelled a lot of popular cosmetic brands in her kitty, including Lakme's new lip care product.

When asked about her association with the brand, Shraddha Kapoor mentioned that she feels honoured to have got associated with a brand that she has been using for many years now.

 “I am thrilled to endorse a brand that I have used since my teenage years. Veet is a brand that has time and again introduced innovations in the hair removal category that not only provides the ease of hair removal at home but also ensures smooth and touchably soft skin. With this new campaign I look forward to highlight the various implications of razor usage and raise awareness around better ways to get smooth, beautiful skin,” said Shraddha.

The actress has also been considered as one of the most appropriate faces to convey the usage of the product to the younger lot in the country. In his statement, Nitish Kapoor, Managing Director has said that the brand feels more-than-proud to sign Shraddha as the ambassador. “She embodies the Veet values of beauty and self-confidence and this association will help us penetrate further into a younger audience across markets,” he added.

While Shraddha no doubt falls aptly over the brand's requirement for a young ambassador, it would be interesting to see if she encroaches upon Katrina's face value for the brand!
