Celebrated designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee is making a comeback to the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) after a gap of five years. He will present the grand finale of the forthcoming Winter/Festive 2013 season here Aug 23-27.
"At the heart of the Lakme Fashion Week lies discovery of the latest talent in fashion which India has to offer. Sabyasachi will be returning in the grand finale this season," Purnima Lamba, head of Innovations at Lakme, said during a press conference held here Wednesday.
The fashion extravaganza, which will kickstart Aug 23 with Manish Malhotra's show, will have a melange of prominent designers like Ritu Kumar, Ranna Gill, Anita Dongre, Vikram Phadnis, Rocky S and Rahul Mishra, as well as a string of newcomers showcasing their creations.
