But, she had an immense passion for music and dance. This led her to join West Heath Girls' School (now The New School at West Heath), here she shined out in the field of dance & music and was recognized with an award.When she was 17, Lady Diana got her first job as a nanny to baby Alexandra, daughter of Major Jeremy Whitaker and his wife Philippa, as Diana was close to Philippa's brother William. She loved children and often spent her time ‘Baby-sitting' the kids around her estate for fun.Meanwhile, she tried her hands at learning cooking, and Skiing. Their official engagement was announced on 24th Feb 1981.Later Lady Diana was bestowed with the titled Princess of Wales; she married Prince of Wales, Charles on 29th July 1981 at St. Paul's Cathedral. Every royal wedding except of Prince Charles and Lady Diana took place at Westminster Abbey.St Paul's Cathedral was chosen due to large gathering of guests at the wedding, Westminster Abbey had limited seats for royals.Until their marriage Diana stayed at the Buckingham Palace. Theirs' was a 'Fairytale Wedding' watched by an audience of 750 million people. About 6000 people gathered outside the church to catch the first glimpse of the newly-wed.The couple post marriage settled for Kensington Palace and High grove House, near Tetbury as their official residence.On November 5 1981, Lady Diana's first pregnancy was officially announced. Later in January 1982, Diana had met an unfortunate incident; she fell down the stairs in Buckingham Palace and suffered grievous injuries and bruises, though the fetus was uninjured.On June 12 1982, Princess Diana gave naturally birth to the couple's first son, and heir William Arthur Philip Louis. Two years later, the couple welcomed another bundle of joy, Henry Charles Albert David, nicknamed Harry on September 15, 1984. Princess Diana revealed that at the time she was pregnant with Harry, she and Prince Charles came very close and no other than her (not even Prince Charles) knew that the unborn was a boy.Lady Diana all her life was devoted to her kids and royal duties. She never bothered about weather, her health, or even circumstances to visit and get engaged in charitable work.Princess was an amalgamation of beauty and finesse. Lady Diana used to choose her wardrobe according to the place that she visited. She loved to be around kids, she helped them through various charities.Princess Diana was an image of selfless love, passion for humanity, and incessant desire to help.As famous and popular she was Princess's dresses too had the same fortunate.
