New Delhi: The pretty and charming former beauty queen Dia Mirza got married to Sahil Sangha in lavish wedding at Chattarpur farms in Delhi.
The bride was dressed in a beautiful gharara created by ace designer Ritu Kumar while groom kept it simple in a head to toe ivory sherwani look.
Dia looked gorgeous in the green coloured gharara designed by Ritu Kumar. Coveted designer Ritu Kumar is vouched for her ethereal bridal designs and so she made Dia looked every inch of gorgeous.
Stunning diva Dia looked beautiful as royal bride on her d-day in a heavily embroidered emerald green gharara with beautiful gotta work and golden zari work all over it.
The heavy gold neckpiece and beautiful 'maang-tikka' made the actress look as eternal beauty. To complet the typical Hyderabadi look, Dia was seen wearing a beautiful pearl pasha.
We are sure Sahil would not be able to take of his eyes from his bride!
If Dia looked royal in Ritu Kumar's creation, the groom looked dapper in a Raghavendra Rathore-designed outfit.
The look which Sahil opted for wedding was classic with no embroidery and comprises a cream silk linen brocade achkan with an emerald green pocket square.
This was paired with an inner emerald green kurta which matches with what Dia wore.
Dia looked a mesmerizing Hyderabadi bride as she spilled her bridal glow with simplicity.
"Since, I am not getting married in Hyderabad and being a Hyderabadi I chose this outfit to add some Hyderabadi flavour to my wedding. I feel like a typical Hyderabadi bride," Dia said while talking to media post wedding.
The couple tied the knot in the presence of the respective families and friends with Araya Samaj rituals and addressed the media and fans immediately after the ceremonies.
The makeup Dia chooses to wear for her wedding was rich. Her cheeks were blushing just like any other bride and her eyes had a smoky and striking effect.
Well, not just on her wedding but even in pre-wedding functions Dia looked eternal beauty with not many efforts.
In the entire wedding functions Dia was seen wearing some unconventional bridal colours and trust us, she looked every inch of beautiful.
For Sangeet ceremony Dia chose a gorgeous lehenga by designer Anita Dongre, while Sahil looked like a prince charming that he is in a black buttoned up bandgala with payjama.
The lehenga worn by Dia Mirza on her sangeet ceremony was extravagant and heavy. The colour that was chosen for Dia Mirza was making her look all the more gorgeous.
With a beige colour corset and purple lehenga, the heavy gold embellishment was a perfect pick for Dia. Looking closely at the stunning choli, it had a few sequins and stones making the bridal-to-be look impeccable.
Dia complemented her purple lehenga with kundan jewellery. Her earrings matched the colour of the Anita Dongre lehenga and so did her mangtikka and necklace.
She wore no fancy rings, so as to keep her fingers bare for her wedding ring. However, the palms of her hands were decorated with bridal mehendi, which was dark enough to prove Sahil's love for her.
On the other hand, the groom Sahil Sangha looked dashing in a Manish Malhotra sherwani. A blood red pocket square, white pyjamas and black formal shoes completed his sangeet look.
Dia Mirza, who also had her mehendi ceremony there, gave her fans a glimpse of the ensemble designed by Ritu Kumar, a marigold yellow chanderi multi-panelled kurta by posting a photograph on her Twitter page.
The photograph featured Dia standing all smiles with Sahil Sangha. In an accompanying message, she wrote tweeted: "With my happiness :) thank you to all those who have conveyed such warm messages here. Sahil and I are grateful."
Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha got engaged in New York earlier this year. Before the festivities Dia Mirza held an intimate pre-wedding bash, which was attended by close friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza.
The couple looked very much in love at their sangeet and is often seen exchanging adoring glances at each other at various occasions.
Now, we are just waiting to see Dia's reception attire. We are sure she will look breath taking!
