The one most significant for you, the one whom you cherish too much, the one who “as per you”, completes your world might not be the best one for you!Your world might be revolving around him, but for him the centre of his world may not be “you”. He might have a lot of things which are more important than you. It could be just anything – his family, his brother, money, good job even his phone but definitely not you. You might be feeling that he completes you, but he might not have similar feelings.If that's the case then it's time that you atleast check that whether it will be right to continue with him or not.May be there is no answer to “what if not him” right now but at least you got to know this much that it is definitely not him. And then as is always said, “Where there is a will, there is a way”.So, if you have made yourself strong enough that he is not the one made for you, then you will, sooner or later, find a way to distance yourself from him.Right now, first check him on this checklist -1) He has more things to change in you and rarely any to accept You need to change your dressing sense, the way you behave; the way you do certain things to fit into his case of acceptability, otherwise, you are not up to “his standard”. He thinks he is a ‘cool dude' around but you are nowhere up to that mark - This attitude; even when his social standing is just self-created and nothing in actual.(Suggestion: Open your mind and listen to what people say about him!)2) Never gets lost in you/You are never his centre point at public placesSomething that you always dreamt of but nowhere to be seen or felt when you are actually in a relationship! You are right in front of his eyes but not on his mind. His eyes, his thoughts are everywhere else, except you.Clear indication! You are not his world, (May be just his momentary need!)3) You text and call him too frequently, but he only has excuses for not respondingYou want to share everything with him – From a guy who was staring you while you were on the way to home to what your parents are planning for you these days. So you message him, call him to share these things but even after several messages you are either scolded for troubling or simply not responded (that too with an important sounding excuse that I had a “hell lot of” business at stake or “such an important meeting”)4) You are more exhausted and depressed than positive and happy after meeting himYou are in love but do you have those feelings which you have heard so many times – sleepless nights, no hunger, world suddenly turning beautiful etc etc???? No??Averse to these, do you rather feel exhausted and return with a pulled down face, every time you meet him. You feel “you” are not giving everything to the relationship. You feel “you” are wrong somewhere. (A good enough signal that you are not with the right person!). Something that should lift you in life is actually regressing you in gloom.5) Even when he is consoling you, you don't feel emotions in his words, rather there is always criticismThis is real bad! When you actually need a shoulder to cry on, a hand to wipe your tears; what you get is criticism that how wrong were you in the situation. The worst part, even if he consoles, giving you the shoulder and wiping your tears, there are still no emotions. No hard-made effort to cheer you or motivate you or even help you thereafter.At the moment, you might not feel it but the fact is someone who is not concerned or empathetic when you are in problem and has hundreds of things to tell that why you were wrong then definitely this person is not meant for you.Even if you are wrong still, even if the rest of the world is not, he should be standing by your side at least and not criticising you6) Everything in the relation goes his way, and if it's not that way then he is even okay to part ways without being bothered how you feelThis is what he does quite often, even if that means outburst of tears for you. He is still okay and firm on his words. If you don't listen to him, you are wrong and if you do then, anyway, you were listening for the wrong only that you have done.In simple words, “it's my way or my way for him” and never “your way”. Period!7) His friends do not know you and your friends see him with suspicionNow that's a real check point. He never introduces you to his friends. He has never sent you a friend request on social media. He has never even told his friends that it is you with whom he is in relationship with, these days. You might be around; still he behaves like normal friends and no special treatment is given to you. In simple words, he behaves like any other person in social circles with you.On the other hand, your friends do not think the way you think about him. They are either too quiet on his mention or telling you to be careful but for sure not with you. (A good enough sign – something is wrong!)8) You have lost more of self-esteem since the time you have been with himSomething that should have actually boosted you, made you more energetic and positive; something that should have uplifted your self-esteem is actually eating it up. Day by day, you are losing your faith in yourself more. You have more things to change in you than accept about yourself. You have more thoughts differing from others about this special someone of yours rather than anything similar.(Clear indication baby, this is not the man made for you!)9) Your concerns put you only under scanner than being taken care offLast time when you mentioned that somebody was staring you, he rather started doubting and criticising you than taking any action. For him, it is always you who is more wrong than any one else. You keep struggling to prove, that why you are right BUT to the unconcerned ears. At last, you are left with remorse or doubt that you were wrong.10) When you mention of somebody else, either he over reacts and becomes aggressive or rather starts doubting your characterAnother important check point, when you mention about somebody else; he over reacts, hurts you, shouts at you, tells you to correct your means or else starts blaming you that you are intentionally doing it and want to break the relationship – all burden on your shoulders BUT the situation is neither taken positively nor sorted out.If all this or most of this is happening in your relationship, whether it is 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years old then surely it is not meant for you. He is the centre point of the relationship and it is only till the time he wants. The entire burden to keep the relationship up and running lies entirely on you.High time!
