It is definitely Janhvi Kapoor's year. After making her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's Dhadak, the celebrity kid walked down the ramp as a showstopper for designer Nachiket Barve's collection on the third day of Lakme Fashion Week. The fashion event which is known for its star presence has hosted a number of celebrities including Sushmita Sen, Karisma Kapoor and now on the third day, celebs such as Janhvi, Disha Patani, Shahid Kapoor graced the ramp.
Janhvi looked straight out of a fairytale in Barve's collection termed, 'Millenial Maharanis'. She arrived on the ramp amidst cheers from the audience. She wore a blue and pink hued lehenga with a blue strapped blouse that had pink embroidery all over it. She carried a pink dupatta along with it. It was a no-accessories avatar and she looked chic in the ethnic outfit. She completed her look with glossy wavy hair, fluttery lashes and rose toned cheeks and lips. She walked the ramp effortlessly with utmost grace. Check out all the pictures:
Baaghi 2 actress Disha Patani and Shahid Kapoor also walked the ramp with style. They sported Amit Aggarwal's creation and slay on the runway in black. While Shahid looked dapper in dull black bandgala and ankle length trousers, Disha looked uber hot in thigh-high slit dress. Check out pictures.
As it was Janhvi's debut as a showstopper, sisters Anshula Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor came to cheer her. Khushi even walked the ramp and here's the picture. Earlier, Janhvi shared a behind-the-scenes video in which she can be seen getting ready for the runway. Check it out below:
On a related note, Janhvi will next be seen in Karan Johar's Takht, which is a multi-starrer period drama. Disha Patani is also currently shooting for magnum opus Sanghamitra, whereas Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
