Veteran actress Rekha graced the singing reality show The Rising Star. She crooned her classic song Aapki Aankhon Me Kuch.

Veteran actress Rekha, who has several awards including Padma Shri to her name, was recently present at Rising Stars along with judges Diljit Dosanjh, Shankar Mahadevan and Neeti Mohan. The actress featured in a special episode for the singing reality show that airs on Colors channel. The pictures and videos from the explosive episode are doing rounds on the social media. The fan pages of Rekha are circulating these pictures and videos. The contestants also prepared performances based on Rekha's iconic films including Silsila, Ghar, and others. In one of the performances, the contestants posed as Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan from the film Silsila, while another contestant played Shashi Kapoor. 

Rekha was seen in her usual avatar, but she was glowing and how. She was wearing golden Kanjeevaram saree with green border. She tied her hair into a loose braid with a Parandi braided into it. Making her grand entry to the show, Rekha danced on her iconic song Yeh Kya Jagah Hai from 1981 film Umrao Jaan. For the film Umrao Jaan, Rekha won the National Film Awards for Best Actress. Apart from this, she has several awards ranging from Filmfare to IIFA to her name. 

During the episode, Rekha enthusiastically interacted with the contestants as well as their parents who are huge fans of her. One of the kins of a contestant even danced to Rekha's popular song in front of her. The actress blushed while he danced for her. 

Rekha is considered as one of the finest actresses of Indian cinema. She has featured as a lead actress in around 200 films. She often portrayed strong household characters and is an epitome of strong women in the industry.
