KGF: Chapter 1 starring Yash has now been declared a monster hit. It’s raking big money at the box office, courtesy good word of mouth. Right from the trailer itself, the film created quite a buzz among Kannada movie fans. No doubt, the way the film was promoted, nobody had a doubt about its box office performance. While the Kannada version was expected to do great, but it wasn’t expected that the Hindi version of the film will also perform well, despite having a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero.

While Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero is spiralling down the box office chart, Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1 is gaining momentum with each passing day and it refuses to slow down. The film has so far collected around Rs 20 crore from its Hindi version itself. Its Kannada version has grossed Rs 68 crore at the box office. The Telugu version has made Rs 8 crore in just 5 days. KGF has hands down become the highest grossing Kannada film and also the first film to go past Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
KGF did well on its 6th day as well. It made Rs 112.95 crore at the worldwide box office. The overseas collections were somewhere around Rs 5 crore. Citing the positive word of mouth and buzz, KGF is surely going to zoom past Rs 150 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
