Israeli girl Liora Itzhak, is all set to sing the national anthems of Israel and India in front of Indian PM Narendra Modi. The lady, who will be welcoming the PM in Israel, wishes to re-live her Bollywood dream. Liora was born in Israel and her parents were from Mumbai. She always wanted to be a Bollywood singer. In fact, she came to India to learn Indian classical music at Sur Sarvadhan institute in Pune when she was 15. But, Liora’s dream was not fulfilled because of her homesickness.
Along with learning classical music, she also learned light bhajans and ghazals. Her big Bollywood break was for the film Dil ka Doctor. She has crooned with talented singers like Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam. Just when her Bollywood career started, she felt homesick rejecting many offers and went back to Israel.
One of Liora’s songs Tu Hai Mera Pyar Pehla, made her a household name in Israel. The lady also sang at the banquet dinner during Indian President Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to Israel.
Liora Itzhak will be singing in front of Narendra Modi tomorrow.
