Meghan Markle, Prince Harry expecting first baby
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child together. The official Twitter handle of Kensington Palace made the announcement on Monday that the couple is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," read the tweet.
The confirmation comes just days after Markle sparked pregnancy rumours with her choice of outfit for Princess Eugenie's wedding. The 'Suits' alum wore a loose-fitting, long navy blue coat, which was in contrast to her sleek dresses she has been pictured wearing at a number of events recently.
Just when the news broke in, the Royal fans couldn’t keep their excitement and were all over the internet with their wishes and love. One Twitter user wrote, "Such wonderful news and an exciting time for the duke and duchess. Congratulations to the both at this happy time wishing the duchess of Sussex a safe and happy pregnancy." Another one wrote, "This is fantastic news!!! Congrats to the Duke & Duchess!! AND they announced while here in Australia! This #RoyalTour just got better!"
