Kalahasti (Andhra): Veteran actress Sridevi has performed special prayers for her elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor at the Sri Kalahasti temple.
According to temple sources, Sridevi performed puja for 'Sarpadosha', which is said to affect the prosperity and health of an individual.
"Both Sridevi and Jhanvi were present for the ceremony, which lasted about 45 minutes. Thousands of people go to Kalahasti temple every year to perform the puja," a source told IANS.
Apparently, over the last few weeks Sridevi was busy shooting at some distance away from temple for her Tamil film 'Puli'.
After wrapping up the latest schedule of the movie, she is said to have decided to pay a quick visit to the auspicious temple with her daughter.
