Total Dhamaal Box Office Collection: Anil-Madhuri starrer crosses Rs.150 crore UNEXPECTEDLY in fourth week

A unique kind of comic film which finds humour in life-threatening situations, Total Dhamaal unexpectedly did wonders at the ticketing counters. Multi-starrer Total Dhamaal is helmed by filmmaker Indra Kumar and is the third installment of Dhamaal series. This adventure comedy, released on 22nd February, received mixed reviews by many film reviewers. While India TV reviewed it with 2.5 stars, the film found favour in mass circuits.

In the fourth week after its release, Total Dhamaal crossed Rs. 150 crore declared as Super-duper hit by film critics. As Taran Adarsh, Film critic and analyst, also tweeted: "#TotalDhamaal continues to find favour in mass circuits... Gathers speed on [fourth] Sat and Sun [although screens/shows have reduced]... Packaging Bollywood actors like Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Javed Jaffrey, Total Dhamaal also features iconic on-screen couple Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit together.

Speaking of the film's storyline, the film doesn't bring anything new on the table and rather follows the same notes of Dhamaal. Similar to its first edition, Total Dhamaal has five pairs of cartoonish characters who are on a run to find the hidden secret treasure of Rs. 50 crore in a zoo in a place called Janakpur. The film tries to bring out humour in the life-threatening situations for these characters.
