Bollywood celebrities remember Sridevi on her first death anniversary
It was this day of last year when legendary actress Sridevi left us for heavenly abode. The actress breathed her last in a Dubai hotel where she stayed after attending her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding. Sridevi began her acting career as a child artist and then went on to establish herself as a leading actress of South and Hindi film industry. Her last movie Mom was her 300th film and this tells a lot about her remarkable journey. Needless to say, why she was called India's first female superstar.
Chandni, Nagina, Mawali, Tohfa, Himmatwala, Sadma are some of her memorable films which are still etched in minds of her fans. She was not just known for her films but also dance numbers. From Hawa Hawai, Tohfa to Na Jaane Kaha Se Aayi Hai, there are several songs which became special with Sridevi's spunk and graceful moves.
Another thing to which everyone would agree is that late actress Sridevi was an epitome of beauty. She was a fashionista and her sartorial choices were always trendy and oozed grace. Moreover, her sarees, especially Kanjeevaram were adored by her fans.

Ahead of her first death anniversary, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor also shared a heart-melting post on Instagram. Sharing a picture, she wrote, ''My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it''. Sridevi passed away before Janhvi's Bollywood debut Dhadak.
