Karan Oberoi, a television actor who is known to work in shows like Inside Edge and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, has been accused of rape and blackmailing a woman. Police arrested the actor on Monday after an FIR was registered at Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai under sections 376 (rape) and 384 (extortion) of the Indian Penal Code against Oberoi.

Revealing details about her character, the actress told the publication, “This is an interesting role because it isn’t the stereotypical mother who asks his son about food, marriage etc., but has several dimensions. There is a new temperament to the mother, and you will get to see a very different dynamic between Akshay, Katrina and me. This is a new, sweet and interesting space that I am looking to explore. I am happy that more people will get to see my work. Rohit has made some amazing films which have been appreciated by the audience.”

Bollywood diva Tabu has reportedly joined the star cast of upcoming film Jawaani Jaaneman. Going by the reports in Spotboye, the actress is all set to join Saif Ali Khan in the film. It also marks the Bollywood debut of Pooja Bedi's daughter Alaia F. It is said that Tabu will be seen doing a cameo in the film.
