Kesari teaser part 3: Akshay Kumar shares another glimpse of his much-awaited film

Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Havildar Ishwar Singh in the film, who led the Sikhs in the fight.

Kesari teaser part 3: Akshay Kumar shares another glimpse of his much-awaited film

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Kesari has been making huge headlines ever since its inception. The film, which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, also features Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role. The makers have been releasing Kesari teasers and now, Akshay Kumar has shared the third glimpse from his much-awaited movie. 

The battle was fought between the British Indian Army that consisted of 21 Sikh Soldiers and Afghan Orakzai Tribesmen in North-West Frontier Province.

Earlier, the makers also revealed Akshay and Parineeti’s first look form the film. Parineeti shared the look on her Twitter and wrote, “Anytime I watched a war movie, it was the love story of those brave men that kept me going.. so proud to be a part of this epic experience!!! Thank you Akshay sir, Kjo and Anurag sir for allowing me to be a part of your vision. You all have made one of the most beautiful movies people will ever see!! People - Don’t miss it on 21st March 2019!!!”

The earlier Kesari posters have Akshay Kumar leading the pack of turbaned Sikhs in uniforms, ready to rip apart the opponents.

Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Havildar Ishwar Singh in the film, who led the Sikhs in the fight. The films required Kumar to do a number of action scenes which are being coordinated by stunt coordinator Lawrence Woodward of the Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) fame.

Talking about Kesari, Akshay Kumar in an earlier interview said, “I have been shooting for ‘Kesari’ since the last one and a half months, and every time that I wear the taaj (turban) on my head, I am filled with pride”.

Kesari releases on March 21.
