On Wednesday, the official handle of Dharma Productions announced: "Tomorrow we enter the world of #Kalank." Now, for the fans who are going bonkers for Varun and Alia's fourth venture together, keeping guessing what the announcement actually mean. This latest tweet by Karan Johar's production house generates much curiosity within us regarding film's updates. Along with such intriguing words, an image is attached in the post where we spot a girl and boy rowing a boat. The picture has been wisely chosen as it is impossible to recognize the actors. In Kalank, a period drama set in the 1940s, Alia Bhatt is sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan with whom she has worked in many films including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Student of the Year. Alia Bhatt also took to micro-blogging website and tweeted something. Check out below:

The film directed by Abhishek Varman was initially supposed to have Sridevi Boney Kapoor in an important role. However, after her sudden demise, Madhuri Dixit stepped into her shoes to fill the space. The film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.

Giving a piece of information to our readers, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Gully Boy alongside Ranveer Singh. In Zoya Akhtar's directorial film, Alia played a character named Saffeena who is uninhibited, uncontrolled and unabashed. Whereas, Varun Dhawan was seen in Sui Dhaaga co-starring with Anushka Sharma.
