New Delhi: It’s been quite a while since Bollywood actor Farahn Akhtar’s personal life has been making to the headlines.
The actor, who has always been popular for his image of being a family man, recently announced his divorce with wife Adhuna.
While their split left everyone shocked, Farhan and Adhuna jointly released a statement and declared that they are mutually calling off their 16 year old marriage.
Although, the now ex-couple are maintaining a stoic silence over the reason behind their divorce, it is speculated that it is because of Farhan’s rumoured affair with a co-star that he parted ways with Adhuna.
Reportedly, Farhan Akhtar is dating his co-star from ‘Wazir’ Aditi Rao Hydari, who also shares a good rapport with his family as well and their increasing proximity is the reason behind the ‘Rock On’ actor’s divorce.
Though, Farhan has been denying the buzz of him dating anyone, but reports of his extra-marital affair are rife. And looks like his rumoured girlfriend Aditi has decided to clear the air now.
During a recent media event, when the diva was quizzed about her relationship with Farhan, she stated
“There are some days when I am irritated for five minutes and then we all laugh and get on with our work. I actually find it entertaining.”
Interestingly, Farhan has also been linked with Kalki Koechlin and Shraddha Kapoor as well. In fact, there has been a buzz that Farhan has even moved in with Kalki.
Well, we wonder how true these reports are.
Currently, Farhan Akhtar is busy with his forthcoming movie ‘Rock On 2’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
