Confirmed! Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan to star in Imtiaz Ali's next, see first look
Putting all Love Aaj Kal 2 speculations to an end, Sara Ali Khan has now confirmed that she and Kartik Aaryan are indeed doing a movie with Imtiaz Ali on the director’s seat. The actress, who wowed us with her performance in Kedarnath and Simba , took to Instagram and shared a beautiful, intimate photo of herself and Kartik Aaryan announcing their new movie. Her confirmation comes after a slew of photos and videos featuring the duo kissing, riding on the streets of New Delhi and more hit the internet. All this while, their movie was deemed as Love Aaj Kal 2. However, Sara Ali Khan has now confirmed that the movie is yet to be titled.

In the last few weeks, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan have been grabbing headlines for their videos together. First, it was a video of them kissing which set the internet on fire and media outlets began to speculate that the two actors are shooting for Love Aaj Kal 2, a sequel to the Imtiaz Ali-directed Love Aaj Kal (2009), which starred Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.
The Imtiaz Ali-directed film will be Sara's third Bollywood project. Sara, daughter of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, stepped into the film industry with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath, in which she co-starred with Sushant Singh Rajput. Sara's second release was Rohit Shetty's Simmba, alongside Ranveer Singh.
Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Laxman Utekar's Luka Chuppi, co-starring Kriti Sanon. Kartik is best-known for his performances in films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series.
