The love for Indian films in Pakistan is not hidden. The neighbouring nation simply adores B-town celebrities and, this is one of the reasons why several Indian movies have created waves in Pakistan. Recently, the SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’s epic combo Baahubali 2: The Conclusion opened great at the Pakistani box-office

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, veteran Pakistani distributor Amjad Rasheed was quoted as saying, "The film has especially got a huge response in single screens, even though it purports mythology and Hindu tradition to a certain extent.” The Indian mythological film reportedly collected 6 crore Pakistani rupees at the box office.

The Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan is the highest grossing Indian film in Pakistan. The film earned 37 crore Pakistani rupees. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, which released on July 7, crossed the Rs 300 crore-mark worldwide in its opening week.

The number position goes to Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Dhoom 3. The movie collected 25 crore Pakistani rupees. Casting Aamir, the low-key promotions, the sizzling Katrina effect and the coming together of Jai (Abhishek) and Ali (Uday Chopra) made Dhoom 3 one of the most talked about films, thus leading to immense anticipation that finally saw huge box office collections filter into the coffers.

It also stars Nawazudin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra in pivotal roles.

Aamir Khan’s epic blockbuster PK is at number four with an earning of 22 crore Pakistani rupees. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film is a comedy drama in which Aamir plays the role of an alien and Anushka appears as a television reporter. The film also has Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, and Saurab Shukla in pivotal roles.
