Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar has sent good wishes and blessing to her younger sister Asha Bhosle as she turned 83 on Thursday. She took it to her micro blogging account Twitter to post the message.
"Namaskar. Aaj meri choti behen Asha Bhosle ka Janamdin hai. Main usko shubh aashirwad deti hun. Ishwar usko hamesha khush rakhe. (Namaskar. Today is my younger sister Asha Bhosle's birthday. I give all my blessings to her. May God always keep her happy.)," tweeted Mangeshkar.

Besides wishing Asha, Mangeskhar, in a different post, also shared the video of Bhosle’s famous track of 1993 release Teesri Manzil - “O Haseena Zulfonwali".
"Asha aur (Mohammad) Rafi sahab ka gaya hua meri pasand ka ye geet aap sabke liye (Sung by Asha and Rafi, that's my favourite track for all of you)," she captioned the video.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor also wished the legendary singer by posting a picture of himself from the film "Rafoo Chakkar”, the movie in which he too crooned some lines in voice of Bhosle.
"Happy Birthday Asha Bhonsle ji. Few know I too have sung in her voice in the film 'Rafoo Chakkar' (1975)," he tweeted.

Punjabi singer Mika Singh also wished the singer on social media.
"Happy birthday to the legend and music guru Asha Bhosle ji... May you live long blessed life. God bless you," he tweeted.
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit also sent his wishes to the 83-year-old singer.
He tweeted, "Wishing Asha Bhosle ji a very happy musical Birthday. May God bless you with loads of love and happiness."
