Lok Sabha elections 2019 phase 2 polling | This village refrains from voting: Here’s why

"Nobody has turned up to vote till now," ANI quoted polling official of booth number 41 as saying on Thursday which also happens to be the day when polling for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019 is underway.

A village in Fatehpur Sikri town in Uttar Pradesh boycotted the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 over the lack of adequate irrigation facilities.

Villagers of Mangoli Kala refrained from voting during the general elections. 

"Nobody has turned up to vote till now," ANI quoted polling official of booth number 41 as saying on Thursday which also happens to be the day when polling for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019 is underway. 

Voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019 began on Thursday morning at 7 am.

The general election is scheduled to be held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and on the same day the results will be declared.

Legislative Assembly elections in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim will be held simultaneously with the general election.
