New Delhi: Art is one of the best ways to express one’s feeling. This medium doesn’t require an individual to follow any thumb rule. One can be just himself and show the world his version of creativity.
We have seen and heard of many unconventional art forms in the past which left us spellbound. Recently, an interesting addition has been done to the artistic world and it’s simply awesome.
Tehran-based artist Khodayar Ahi turned his own face into the canvas for a submission to #WHPworkinprogress, a weekend hashtag project by Instagram.
The project demanded the participants to capture videos that show what it’s like to make things by hand - from woodworking and flower arranging to calligraphy and cooking.
Khodayar opted for an altogether different way and painted his own face to express his feelings. His art is a reminder that we’re all (humans) an evolving work of art.
Instagram shared this innovative video on their official page and it has been viewed more than 2.1 million times at the time of writing. People on social media are amazed by his artistry as he is receiving applause from all around.
When Khodayar posted the video on his Instagram profile, it was with an expressive caption that read, “Please give me a blank piece of paper! Because I want to put my feelings in to drawing!! #whpworkinprogress #godyarism #myinstagramfeature”
Though, after watching the video we are sure he doesn’t need any paper to show his feelings.
