Airlines are showering discounts on domestic and international flight tickets and giving amazing deals on fares to woo the customers.Here are some of the eye-boggling discount deals offered by some of the prominent air carriers.
Budget carrier GoAir on Monday announced special discounted fares as low as Rs 1,299 inclusive of all taxes for a one-way journey across its network under a limited period scheme. The bookings for the three-day 'Monsoon sale' will begin from midnight today, for travel between June 24 and September 30, a release said.
Since the July quarter is considered a lean period for the travel business, domestic airlines attract customers by offering low fares.
The sale offers fares starting Rs 1,299 (taxes and fees included) and can be availed for travel across all the 23 sectors operated by GoAir, the airline said in a release. The booking is valid for travel on all non-stop and via flights on GoAir's network, it said, adding tickets booked under this offer are non-refundable (taxes and fees are refundable on cancellation). Besides, fares vary from sector to sector depending on the route, flight and timings, it added.
2. Jet Airways
Jet Airways has recently announced the launch of operations under the 'Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik' (UDAN) scheme. Under this scheme, the carrier is offering new routes. From June 14, Jet Airways will commence operations three times a week on Lucknow-Allahabad, Allahabad-Patna route and from June 15 on Delhi-Nashik route. The airline has also announced fares starting as low as Rs. 967 on certain routes, under the scheme.
AirAsia India is offering domestic flight tickets at a starting price of Rs. 1,599. AirAsia India's new promotional offer is valid on travel till October 31, 2018. Under the End of Summer Sale scheme, AirAsia India is offering discounted tickets on flights to destinations including Bengaluru, Goa, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ranchi, according to the AirAsia website. The bookings for the offer are open until June 3, 2018. AirAsia is also offering international flight tickets at a starting price of Rs. 3,999 on select routes under this scheme.
SpiceJet is offering up to 50 per cent discount on SpiceMax with HDFC Bank credit cards on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday under its 'Happy Weekends' scheme. SpiceJet's new offer can be availed online by using the promo code HDFCMAX. For non-SpiceMax passengers, the carrier is offering Rs. 150 discount.
