Hyderabad, May 17: Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Ltd (SMIPL), a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, today launched their new mass segment motorcycle ‘Hayate'.
On the occasion, SMIPL national head (sales) Anand Thakur claimed that ‘Hayate', a four-stroke, air-cooled, 112 cc engine, comes with a stylish engine and superior mileage of 70 kms.
Replying to a query, he agreed that SMIPL is a late entrant in the product segment into the market and that its current market share is small.
“But with this product, we expect to gain a market share of five per cent. We also plan to have products in all
segments of two-wheeler business,” he added
