New Delhi: Micromax has teased the launch of its upcoming phablet Canvas Doodle 3 on Facebook and YouTube with the tagline "A bigger canvas coming soon." The device will be introduced in the market soon and will carry a price tag of Rs 15,000.
The phablet will succeed the Doodle 2, which is the biggest handset in the company's product portfolio.
As per the rumours, the device is like to sport a 6-inch screen with 854x480p resolution, 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and 5MP rear camera. Other features of the device include VGA front camera, dual-sim functionality, 2,500mAh battery and microSD card support. The phablet is likely to come with a stylus.
Going by these leaked specifications, the device does not bring any hardware upgrades compared to its predecessor apart from the bigger screen size. The phablet will compete against the likes of Xolo Q2500.
