New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India reported a 61 per cent jump in sales in August as against the sales recorded in the same month a year ago. India's largest carmaker sold 87,323 units in August compared to 54,154 units in August 201.
Maruti reported a 51.6 per cent jump in domestic sales to 76,018 units during the month, compared to 50,129 units a year ago.
Sales in passenger cars jumped more than 100 per cent in August to 63,499 units, compared to 31,653 units in August 2012.
