New Delhi, Jan 31: Bharti Airtel has proposed to make Manoj Kohli the managing director of the company while making the new CEO of the India operations Gopal Vittal as joint managing director. The company has additionally said that Vittal will also come on board as additional director.
Sunil Bharti Mittal, the company's chairman and managing director, will now be the executive chairman. Thus, Mittal will now concentrate on governance while Kohli and Vittal will look after day-to-day operations.
