HTC launches One M9+ with 2K QHD display in India at Rs 52500

New Delhi: HTC has launched their flagship smartphone HTC One M9+ in India, a larger version of the M9 which features beefier specs. In a press event, Faisal Siddiqui, President HTC South Asia and India, announced the launch of HTC's 2015 premium flagship smartphone for India.

HTC One M9+ comes with a 2K Quad HD display and is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 core processor, paired with 3GB of RAM.

The device comes with 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It has a physical Home button that also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The One M9+ runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with HTC's Sense UI 7 skin running on top. Users can customize the soft-keys on the screen. The phone comes with BoomSound with Dolby Audio surround sound, and gets its juice from a 2840mAh battery and runs the latest Android Lollipop OS.

The handset features a 20MP rear camera complete with the duo-camera setup that also includes an additional camera lens for depth sensing. The One M9+ also has an UltraPixel front-facing camera for selfies.

HTC M9 launch

Connectivity options include 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, NFC and Infrared. HTC announced that it will release its range of Dot View covers for the smartphone.

The company also unveiled its One E9+ phablet in the country. The device will be launched in May and its price remains undisclosed as of now.

The phablet sports a 5.5-inch 1440x2560p screen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and Android 5.0-based Sense 7 UI. Powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor and 2GB RAM, the phablet has 32GB internal storage and supports up to 128GB microSD cards.

The company also launched its entry-level Desire 326G. The handset offers a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, and runs on a 1.2GHz quad core CPU. 1GB of RAM, an 8MP main camera, a 2MP front snapper, a 2000mAh battery and 8GB of expandable storage are some of its other highlights. It is expected to be priced at around the Rs 10000 mark.
