Gayatri Reddy
She is the daughter of T. Venkattaram Reddy, the owner of Deccan Chronicle. Gayatri has a bent for writing on travel, fashion, sports and cuisine besides doing celebrity interviews. On Twitter, she regularly expresses her views on sports, especially cricket. Reddy was heavily involved with the erstwhile team Deccan Chargers in terms of building the team and picking the players in line with her strategy. Due to financial troubles the cricket franchise was put on sale by its owners in 2012. On 14 September 2012, the IPL governing council terminated the Chargers for breaching contract terms.
