Indian startup Swipe launches voice calling tablet at Rs. 7,499: Here’s all you need to know

New Delhi: Indian tablet manufacturer Swipe today announced the launch of its new offering in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 7,499, the Swipe X703 tablet is exclusively available on Snapdeal in a white colour variant.

Swipe will offer one year warranty on the tablet, and six months warranty on the accessories inside the box. The voice calling tablet also gives Hindi language support and comes with pre-installed apps like Newshunt and Clean Master. The tablet is slated to compete with other budget devices in the category like iBall Q1035, iBall Q27 and iBall Brace X1 tablets.

The Swipe X703 features 10.1-inch IPS capacitive display with 160ppi pixel density and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.3GHz (MTK8321) Mediatek quad-core processor, paired with 1GB RAM and ARM Mali GPU.

It has an inbuilt storage of 8GB with the option to expand up to 32GB via a microSD slot.

In terms of photography, the tablet has a 5-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus, and a 2-megapixel selfie camera. It packs a 6000mAh non-removable battery, which Swipe claims can last up to 6 hours of play time, and 150 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. There's no support for 4G connectivity.
