Social media has made our life easier as it offers a variety of options from posting pictures to Instagram, connecting with friends and family on Facebook, uploading videos to YouTube for the entire world to see, and much more.

So on this occasion we have brought 10 amazing social media hacks you are definitely going to love:  

Facebook

Get rid of Birthday notification: You have so many friends and everyday is full of birthday notifications. Here are steps to get rid of them. Click on the globe that shows your notifications in the top bar of Facebook. Then click on "Settings" in the top right corner of the drop-down menu. Go down to "Birthdays" and switch "on" to "off."

Remove someone from your news feed without unfriending them: You have 1,000th friend but that doesn't mean you actually want to see their posts. This is what "following" and "unfollowing" is for. Look for the "Following" button over the cover photo of your friend and put your cursor over it. Click "unfollow" to make sure that this person's posts won't show on your Newsfeed.

Make your profile picture unclickable: You want to make sure all your social media accounts are super private so here is a trick to make your profile pictures "unclickable," so that someone who isn't your friend on Facebook can't go through all your profile pictures. Click on your profile picture click on the globe icon in the top right corner. When you click on it, hit "friends."

Block family from seeing posts: Every post is not meant for your family and so you no longer have to show it to them. Create a list click on "Friends" in the left sidebar of your home page and choose "Create List." Enter names of people who fall under the same category and title the list accordingly so these people are always easy to find. To block a list from seeing a post, click on the two little people next to the date and time on your status, and choose "More Options," then "Custom." Click on the list you want to block and disable them from seeing your post.

Twitter

Twitter Has Keyboard Shortcuts: Some people are die-hard keyboard fan and Twitter has keyboard shortcuts. Just Type ? in Twitter, and view all the most important keyboard shortcuts.

You can setup multiple Twitter accounts using the same email address: You can make your original email address and set up multiple accounts. For example, if your email address was Peter@gmail.com, if you use Peter+twitter@gmail.com on any website, any email sent to this would go to your inbox, which is Peter@gmail.com.

You can turn off all twitter emails with a single click: When you join Twitter all the emails you receive can be a real pain. You can turn all of them off. Just visit your profile settings and click on the ‘Email notifications’ tab. From here click on the ‘Turn off’ button to disable all email.

Instagram

Use Instagram as a photo editor: We all love Instagram's filters but don't necessarily want to post the photo every time. To use Instagram as a photo editor without posting anything, click on the airplane mode of your phone. Turn on your "Save Original Photo" from settings.

Follow the steps to post a photo to Instagram: Upload the photo, edit it, and press "Share." After this an error message will appear saying the upload failed, but the edited image will be saved on your phone's photo gallery.

Hide ads: You might see ads on Instagram. To hide ads on Instagram just tap on the "Sponsored" label on the top right of any ad, and choose "Hide This." From there, it'll ask you to share why you don't want to see the ad anymore and you need to choose and the ad will be hidden.

Hide photos you were tagged in from your profile: If you were tagged in a photo and want to hide it from your profile just go to your profile and tap on the Tag icon. Select the photo you want to remove and then in the top right corner, tap the ” … ” icon. Choose Photo Options and select Hide from My Profile.
