The Pashupatinath temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati river in Kathmandu. It serves as the seat of Pashupatinath -- an incarnation of Lord Shiva.
Following heavy and incessant rainfall in the Mandsaur area of Madhya Pradesh, the water of Shivna river entered the Pashupatinath temple. The idols in the temple were seen partially immersed in the river water with flowers and small items flowing out of the temple.

Hindu devotees thronged the famous Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, in Nepal on Monday to offer prayers during the holy month of 'Shravan' amid the coronavirus outbreak.
In the ongoing pious month of 'Sawan,'devotees offered prayers outside Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu.
In order to take precautions to contain the spread of coronavirus but also keeping the desires of devotees to follow ritual process, a temple in Madhya Pradesh has installed a contact-less bell at Pashupatinath Temple in Mandsaur, which work with the help of sensors.
The idea behind this contactless bell was of Nahru Khan, who told ANI, "We listen to azan, so I thought clanging of bells should also be heard".
More than 6,000 saints, including from India, have arrived in Kathmandu for offering prayers at the famed Pashupatinath Temple on Friday on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, the festival dedicated to Lord Shiva.
