  The proposed legislation which was earlier christened the Higher Education Commission of India (HECI) Bill has now been named Viksit Bharat Shiksha Adhikshan Bill. "The bill to set up Viksit Bharat Shiksha Adhikshan has been approved by the Cabinet," an official said.
