Foot overbridge collapses in Delhi's Roop Nagar area, search operation underway

Authorities have cordoned off the area to prevent further accidents and to facilitate the ongoing rescue efforts. The cause of the collapse is yet to be ascertained, adding that a detailed inspection will be carried out once the rescue operation concludes.

Delhi: The visuals from the spot showed that the foot-over bridge split into two parts. One portion of the bridge fell on the road after being hit by the crane being transported on a trailer.

At least two people got injured after an under-construction foot overbridge collapsed in Mankhurd area of Mumbai on Wednesday night. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital and the work to remove the damaged portion to clear the road is underway.
