IndiGo announces up to Rs 10,000 fuel surcharge on airfares from April 2; air travel to get costlier
India | April 01, 2026 20:59 ISTThe move comes after the government partially increased ATF prices by 25 per cent for domestic flights. Earlier, from March 14, IndiGo had already introduced fuel surcharges of Rs 425 to Rs 2,300 for flights within India and abroad, following a spike in fuel costs due to the Middle East conflict.

Business | June 16, 2020 9:29 ISTPrices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) in metros applicable from today - in Delhi price rises to Rs 39,069.87, in Kolkata, ATF will cost Rs 44,024.10/kilo litre, in Mumbai at Rs 38,565.06/kilo litre and in Chennai 40,239.63/kilo litre. It was on June 1 when the prices of ATF were revised earlier.
