Dell unveils new Inspiron 5000 series laptop in India, starting at Rs 36,990

The Dell Inspiron 5480 price in India is Rs 36,990 and the Dell Inspiron 5580 price in India is Rs 37,990.

Dell unveils new Inspiron 5000 series laptop in India, starting at Rs 36,990

Dell, the US-based technology company has expanded its laptop portfolio in India and launched two new notebooks under the Inspiron 5000 series called the Dell Inspiron 5480 and Inspiron 5580. Both the laptops will be up for sale on the Dell website. The Dell Inspiron 5480 price in India is Rs 36,990 and the Dell Inspiron 5580 price in India is Rs 37,990.

The 5000 series laptops from Dell are touted to be the best in the class laptop of the company. The new range comes with an 8th Generation Intel Core processor available in three different variants of i3, i5 and i7. Both Dell Inspiron 5480 and Inspiron 5580 get 32GB DDR4 memory and comes with a variety of storage options that includes PCIe NVMe SSDs and dual drive options.

The notebook is available in two different sizes of 14inch and 15inch full HD anti-glare IPS display with 1920x1080 resolution along with Dell Cinema software for immersive entertainment. A press release from the company mentioned that the 14inch notebook gets a 3-sided narrow border, while the 15-inch version gets a 2-sided narrow border that adds to the style factor.

Both notebooks get Intel Optane Memory that helps in boosting the responsiveness of an HDD-based system by memorizing frequently used commands. Other features on the notebook include a 4-element lens webcam that offers temporal noise reduction and Dell Mobile Connect software for seamless connectivity with other compatible devices.

Alen Joe Jose, Director- Product Marketing, Consumer and Small Business, Dell India said, "A year-end delight, are the 2 new models from Dell’s Inspiron portfolio. Tech-savvy users who know how to get the maximum from their notebook and are looking for style statements when it comes to personal technology will surely appreciate these machines".

Both the Dell Inspiron 5480 and Inspiron 5580 notebooks are available in three colour options of Burgundy, Platinum Silver and Ink.
