Kingston, Jamaica, June 29: Host West Indies dismissed Sri Lanka by six wickets with 73 balls remaining in their first match of the tri-series involving India, the hosts and the Lankans.
Chris Gayle hit a fabulous century (109) before he was caught by Chandimal off a Mendis ball.
Earlier, West Indies dismissed the visitors for 208 in 48.3 overs. Sunil Narine took four wickets for 40 runs, while Rampaul took 3 for 38. Captain Angelo Matthews scored 55 runs.
Replying, opener Chris Gayle went on a big run-hunt stumping the Lankan bowlers. Charles made 29, and Bravo remained not out on 29.
