IND vs BAN, 1st Test, Day 4, STUMPS: BAN finish day at 272/6, need 241 more to win

So that will be Stumps on Day 4 of the match. BAN have lost 4 wickets while scoring 272 runs in their chase of 513. This shall be another day of India. The last two batters are batting and India have managed to send most of the willow holders back. But Bangladesh have put up a fight and are still doing it. They did not give a wicket in the first session of the day and batted bravely. But India struck as Umesh opened the wickets' column. Soon Axar, Kuldeep and Ashwin joined the party, with Axar picking three to send shockwaves in Bangladesh's camp. IND have got 6 wickets till now in the day and are 4 wickets away from a win. However the time is ticking and the fourth day is about to end. Indian bowlers are trying and pitching balls on good areas but will they able to get some more wickets?

Axar gets two in one over and BAN are 6 down now. This was again pitched near full length and beat the batsman as it turned away. Nurul Hasan came out of the crease and Pant did well to stump him. IND 4 wickets away.

And India are getting deep into Bangladesh's batting now. Axar Patel cleans up Mushfiqur Rahim. The batter played the wrong line, it pitched near fuller length and turned a bit to beat Rahim. BAN 5 down.

It's Tea time on Day 4 of the Test. India would be happy that they have got three wickets in the session and are back in the driver's seat after Bangladesh showed a good fight in the first session. Meanwhile, the Indian side did not appeal for an outside edge against Litton Das. Umesh Yadav bowled a fuller length and found the outside edge of Das' bat, which was comfortably taken by Pant but India did not appeal as they could not hear the sound. Bangladesh openers are out to bat after the Lunch break. Shanto and Zakir have been good till now and will want to keep going. Meanwhile, India will look to extract something out of this surface and grab some wickets in this session. Umesh to start.

That's Lunch in Chattogram on Day 4. Bangladesh have managed to negotiate India's spin threat in the opening session. The opening pair of Shanto and Zakir scored the fifties and took Bangladesh to 119/0. The session was dominated by the batters as they scored 79 runs. Even though the pitch is favoring the batters but there is a decent amount of spin. The Indian spin bowlers did threaten the batters and there were some LBW appeals and good turns but both the batters have done well to stay unbeaten. The Bangladesh openers have played a good hand in the opening session. Both Shanto and Zakir have scored the fifties as Bangladesh have crossed 100 without losing a wicket.
